MICHAIL GKINIS AOYAMA is a hybrid design unit. Michail is an (artist / designer). He was born in
Greece educated in fashion in London and he is fascinated by Japanese textiles.
Yuko Gkinis Aoyama is the (producer). She was born in Tokyo and she communicates their message to the world.
We use a rare fabric of Japan that is only one in the world.
One coat that changes in many styles to fit various scenes of daily life.
It can be stored and folded in A4 size with a changeable front panel.

Both cotton and wool versions are
used for next-generation high-tech knits / body parts in Wakayama Prefecture.
Features:
A rare knit fabric born from Wakayama using world-class Japanese technology. It is a high-quality Japanese textile that has the goodness of both woven and knitted fabrics, woven into about 2000 warp threads in micro units. (* Knit fabric usually does not contain warp threads.)
Benefits:
There is growth , wear well, lightly, shapeless hard to be washing.
Cut-off design is possible even though it is a natural material.
Wool version : 93% wool 7% nylon
Care method: Dry cleaning
High-density wool that compresses the fabric for about 1 m and has excellent comfort because it is warm and stretchable
Cotton version : 86% cotton 14% nylon
Care method: Hand washable
Dry Outstanding comfort with a silky feel made of cotton with a stretchy touch
Okayama Prefecture Ultra-thin denim / used for front panel
Okayama Prefecture’s denim, which is well-known overseas, is especially thin, light, and
denim woven with yarn-dyed yarn that does not easily fade.
Tokyo pig leather / front panel
Tokyo production of pig leather is said to be high-quality quality of world level
of net domestic raw hides and skins to use, tanning final processing from the processing make up the entire process up to in Sumida-ku.
Abundant processing by craftsmen’s high technology creates unique materials that are not found outside. Fascinated by this
soft, thin and light pig leather, designer Michail Gkinis loves Tokyo pigskin and has been using it for over 10 years.

has lots of design options. We use YKK fasteners that are made in Japan.

Denim fabric from Okayama Prefecture with yarn-dyed yarn that does not fade even when washed lightly and softly
(2) Next-generation knit cotton [Wakayama Prefecture] (Hand-printed hand print [ Yamagata Prefecture])
Delicate gradation color that cannot be produced by hand-dyed machines by female craftsmen
(3) Next-generation knit wool [Wakayama Prefecture]
High-tech knit that can be cut off from the same material as the body part.
(4) Pig leather (black / cut / wrinkle) [Tokyo]
Pig leather is manually wrinkled and cut.
(5) Pig leather (white / paint / wrinkle processing) [Tokyo]
Pig leather is hand-wrinkled and hand-painted one by one by Michail Gkinis.
(6) Next-generation knit wool [Wakayama Prefecture] (Silver foil print [Osaka Prefecture])
Random silver foil print made by hand is applied to high-tech knit wool that can be cut off from the same material as the body part.
When folded, it becomes A4 size. Lightweight & compact
